Example of calculating the total cost of a loan:

Settlement of a loan in the amount of 20,000 rubles for a period of 12 months (365 days).

The interest rate for using a loan for 365 days is 0.098% per day (35.9% per annum).

The total cost of the loan (TCC) is 35.901% per annum (TCC is approximate, calculated for a loan with a validity period from 01/08/2024 to 01/07/2025 and may change depending on the date of payments)

The amount of accrued interest for 365 days of using the loan is 4,100 rubles.

Amount to be refunded – 24,100 rubles

Amount to be returned = Principal Debt (Loan Amount) + Accrued Interest, where

Accrued Interest = (Unoverdue Principal Balance * Annual Rate (%)/365) * Accrual Period (days). 

Interest is calculated daily on the unoverdue portion of the principal debt. 

A penalty is charged at the rate of 0.1% for each day of delay on the amount of the overdue debt on the principal debt.
